Collection and use of personal data

Personal information is information that identifies you directly or indirectly, such as your name, email address, phone number, IP address, or mailing address.

The Company does not collect your personal information unless you explicitly transmit such information (for example, by requesting a specific product or service, entering into a contract or requesting specific actions prior to entering into a contract, participating in loyalty programs, registering in an electronic newsletter, participating in surveys, contests, and competitions, ordering samples or brochures, requesting donations, as well as searching for information, submitting a resume or open offer, or registering for vacancies for open jobs, as well as becoming employed at our Company...).

We collect, store, use, or share your personal information to the extent – content-wise and time-wise – that is necessary in a specific case, for example, to respond to your requests, to meet your requirements, to inform you about our products, the results of a contest or sweepstakes, to fulfil contractual obligations or necessary actions before entering into a contract, or to fulfil our other legal or legal obligations. For these reasons, the Company sometimes has to share personal information with other companies within the Atlantic Group and affiliates or external service providers for further processing. Service providers may, for example, participate in the context of call centre services, product delivery services, promotional material distribution services, or contest organisation and implementation services. The Company requires these parties to comply with applicable legal regulations, comply with our instructions, and comply with our internal rules for the protection of personal data, as well as the requirements for the application of adequate organizational and technical protection measures. For the same reasons, sometimes your personal information must be transferred to other EU states or outside the EU, and the Company takes care that this transfer is in full compliance with the law and with all available and appropriate personal data protection measures.

The Company guarantees that your personal information will not be sold to anyone and that it will not transfer or borrow your personal information to a third party unless it is necessary to fulfil a specific purpose that you have given us or guarantees that your information will not be provided to any unauthorised recipient.

We may need to provide your personal information to the competent public authority if law or other mandatory regulations require this.

The collected data will be stored for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or for a period of time in accordance with applicable law.

Use of personal data for advertising and marketing purposes

When your personal data is used for advertising and marketing purposes in accordance with the applicable legislation in the field of personal data protection, your data will be stored and used for these purposes, e.g., to send newsletters, product samples, invitations to participate in contests and sweepstakes, by email, by mail, or by another communication channel that you have accepted.

If your personal information is used to send individual (for you) advertisements and promotions by creating and maintaining a user profile, you will be notified in advance, that is, before sending such advertisements and promotions. Before such processing of personal data, we shall definitely ask you to provide your special, explicit, and informed consent.

We will use your information as necessary to analyse and improve the effectiveness of our online services, advertising, marketing, market research and sales, through surveys or other types of queries, or in such a way that your personal information is anonymised, i.e. cannot be connected with a person.

Exercising respondents' rights

At any time, you can request information from us about your personal data that we process, or request their correction, you can request the termination of the use or deletion of your personal data or the withdrawal of consent for all or only some purposes (except in cases where this is not possible, e.g., if it concerns the processing of data for statistical purposes when personal information no longer allows identification), i.e., the transfer of data to another processing manager in accordance with legal conditions or the cancellation of receiving our information and advertising materials.

You may also object to the use of your personal data in situations that we base on the existence of our legitimate interests, and, of course, when we use it for direct marketing purposes.

For our part, to the maximum extent possible and reasonable, we will ensure that your personal data that you have provided to us are correctly recorded, but the responsibility for their accuracy depends on you, and we ask you to update them regularly and in a timely manner or to provide us with a request for change or correction.

In order to exercise all your rights and obligations regarding the use of personal data, you can contact the Company's email address or the Company's mail address indicated on the website, or at the email address: [email protected], or in accordance with the instructions written on the provided advertising materials.

When contacting and setting these requirements, we will use reasonable efforts to verify your identity and prevent unauthorised processing of your personal data.

Upon receipt of your claims, the requested activity will be carried out within 30 days of receipt, and if necessary, inform you about it in accordance with the law.

Children

As a general rule, we do not collect information about children. Once we are convinced that such information has been passed on to us without the consent of parents or legal guardians, we will delete it as soon as possible. In doing so, we will be guided by the guidelines we have received from you as a parent or legal guardian.

If, for any purpose, we collect information about children at an age where, in accordance with applicable law, parental consent is required to process their personal data, we will provide relevant information about this and will use reasonable measures to determine that the children have the consent of their parents or legal guardian.

Data security

We have implemented technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss of your data, alteration, theft or access to unauthorized third parties, or any unauthorized processing. Access to your personal information is restricted only to those employees who need this information when providing our services or resolving your request. We constantly inform our employees about the importance of data privacy, confidentiality, and protection of your data. We recommend that you read the personal data protection rules of these portals, social networks, or third parties in advance, as well as take security measures, as they may differ from these rules and our measures taken, and for which we cannot be held responsible.

Limitation of liability

While we take reasonable technical, organizational, and human resources measures to protect personal data from accidental or intentional misuse, destruction, loss, unauthorised alteration, or availability, we cannot guarantee that any personal information we collect will never be accidentally disclosed, contrary to the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for damages caused to users or third parties through accidental disclosure of personal information.
